Seeing is shaped by time, memory, and the continual interplay of the senses. I am interested in how painting can make visible the transformative processes through which experience is formed and reformed over time. My work explores the shifting territory between place and memory, certainty and ambiguity, and the ways perception constructs meaning. Through painting, I investigate the possibility of multiple realities and the pathways that emerge through chance, choice, and recollection. I am drawn to painting's unique ability to hold different temporalities at once, suggesting moments of transition rather than fixed conclusions. By tracing the space between possibility and probability, my paintings become both reflections of experience and a means of understanding how we navigate and make sense of the world.
